Quick Mill Aquila Instant Stability Profi: Rotary, Plumbable, Ready Fast
The Aquila is the whole package at home: a rotary pump, the option to plumb straight into the water line, a proper hot water tap alongside the steam wand, and enough steam to run a household. The Instant Stability version adds a short warm-up of around 12 minutes.
A 1.8L insulated stainless heat exchange boiler and a chromed brass E61 group let you brew and steam simultaneously, with PID brew temperature control.
Key Features:
- Instant Stability: Ready in around 12 minutes and stable between shots.
- Rotary Pump: Near-silent, with brew pressure adjustable from the side panel.
- Tank or Plumbed: 3L reservoir or direct mains connection.
- E61 Group: Chromed brass with continuously circulating water.
- PID Brew Temperature: Set it to suit the bean.
- Hot Water Tap: Anti-burn, separate from the steam wand.
- Empty-Tank Protection: Alarm plus element and pump cut-out.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Instant Stability?
It is Quick Mill's thermal management technology, which places an active heating element in the brew group under its own PID control. On a conventional heat exchange machine the group is warmed indirectly from the boiler and takes 25 to 30 minutes to settle. Instant Stability heats the group directly so the machine is usable far sooner and holds temperature between shots.
Can I plumb it into my water line?
Yes. The Aquila is set up for direct mains connection, and it also runs from the 3L tank. You can start on the tank and plumb it in later.
Can I adjust the brew pressure myself?
Yes, and this is one of the Aquila's real advantages. The rotary pump's pressure is adjustable from the side panel with a screwdriver, so you do not need to remove panels or book a service visit to dial it in.
Can it brew and steam at the same time?
Yes. Brew water is drawn through a tube inside the 1.8L boiler, so espresso and milk steaming run simultaneously with no drop in steam pressure.
What happens if the tank runs dry?
A solenoid sensor detects it, an alarm sounds, and the machine cuts both the heating element and the pump. Neither can be damaged by running dry.
Does it have a hot water tap?
Yes, separate from the steam wand and also encapsulated to prevent burns. Useful for tea, americanos and warming cups.
What grinder should I pair with it?
The grinder does more for your shot quality than the machine does. At this level look at a 64mm flat burr or better with stepless adjustment. See our coffee grinder range, or call us and we will match one to your budget and your beans.
Every Quick Mill machine we sell is genuine Australian stock backed by a 2 year factory warranty and supported by our own Illawarra-based service technicians with genuine parts on the shelf. We are not a drop-shipper — if something needs attention in year three, you have a real workshop to call.
Pairs well with
We have flat rate shipping for our home coffee machines to most locations in Australia. For some remote locations, we will have to quote the shipping costs separately before sending the machine
We like to bench test our machines before dispatch, so it may be a couple of days before we send them out.
No barista experience needed — we'll walk you through it. Every machine we sell comes with setup guidance, and if something's not right after it arrives, our own technicians handle the repair — not a call centre overseas.
New to espresso? We're happy to talk through grind size, tamping, and getting your first shot right
Something wrong? We service what we sell — real support, not a warranty card and a phone number that goes nowhere.
We Aim to Match, But Conditions Apply!
We strive to offer the most competitive prices in Australia for all your coffee brewing needs. While we're confident in our pricing, we're human, and occasionally, a competitor might slip a lower price past our radar. That's where you come in! If you spot a better deal elsewhere, we'll gladly match it, with some fair conditions to ensure a level playing field.
Here's the scoop:
- Aussie rivals only: The competitor must be an Australian retailer with prices in AUD and shipping from within our great nation.
- Brand buddies: They must be an authorised retailer of the specific brand you're eyeing.
- Twinsies, please: The product needs to be an exact match, brand new in its box, and readily available.
- Delivery included: We'll factor in the competitor's delivery cost for an apples-to-apples comparison.
Now, for some exceptions, where our price-matching magic might not work:
- Cashback & discounts: We can't match deals involving cashback offers or special discount coupons.
- Bulk buys: Commercial quantity pricing is a different beast, so we won't match those either.
- Clearance frenzy: Stock liquidation sales are temporary deals, and we can't keep up with their ever-changing prices.
- History can't be rewritten: We can't adjust past orders that have already been processed.
- Auction arena: Prices from auction sites like eBay or Catch of the Day aren't eligible.
The rare exception:
In extraordinary situations, we might not be able to match a competitor's price exactly. But don't worry, we'll still offer you the best possible price we can, because your coffee happiness matters to us!
So, there you have it! With these guidelines in mind, feel free to share any lower prices you find, and let's brew up some fair competition!
