The grinder matters more than the machine. Even the best espresso machine can't fix an inconsistent grind — these are the brands we'd put behind our own gear.

Eureka — Italian-made, our most popular home range. From the compact Mignon Silenzio through to the dose-by-weight Libra and single-dose Oro.

Mazzer — commercial-grade grinders (Super Jolly, Kony, Robur) built for cafe volume and all-day consistency.

Mahlkonig — the EK43, a benchmark grinder for high-volume specialty cafes and filter brewing.

Quamar — Italian precision grinders spanning home (Q50) through to commercial (M80E, Nemo) volume.

Turin — single-dose flat burr grinders (DF54, DF64, DF83V) for home baristas chasing minimal retention.

ECM — German-made manual and automatic burr grinders matched to ECM's espresso machines.

Porlex manual grinder — portable, quiet options for travel or a quieter morning routine.

Hand vs electronic, in short: hand grinders are portable, quiet, and the cheapest way into proper grinding — the tradeoff is time and consistency at scale. Electronic grinders (stepless adjustment, higher RPM, lower retention) are built for speed and repeatability, which matters most once you're grinding daily or for more than one person.

Every electronic grinder here is serviced locally — if it grinds, we can fix it.
