The Optimal Solution for Cleaning Your Espresso Machine
Maintaining a clean coffee machine is of utmost importance, whether you're a cafe owner or a home barista. By using the right cleaning agent, you can ensure the longevity of your machine while preserving the exquisite flavors of your coffee. Allow us to introduce you to the perfect chemical solution for this task: Espresso Clean®.
Why Cleaning Your Coffee Machine Matters
Cleaning your espresso machine offers numerous benefits that contribute to the overall quality of your coffee and the lifespan of your equipment. Here's why it should be a priority:
- Removes Old Coffee Oils: Over time, coffee oils accumulate within your machine and can become rancid, compromising the flavor of your coffee. Regular cleaning with Espresso Clean® eliminates these old oils, ensuring a fresh and vibrant taste in every cup.
- Extends Machine Life: By removing coffee oils and residue, you allow essential components like the solenoid valve and manual lever to operate freely. Preventing the build-up of old oils ensures that your machine functions optimally and avoids any unnecessary strain caused by clogs or blockages.
Directions for Use
To guide you through the cleaning process, we've provided simple instructions to make cleaning your espresso machine a breeze:
Daily Procedure to Back-Flush Each Delivery Group:
- Remove the coffee filter from the group handle and replace it with a "blind" filter.
- For daily cleaning, add 1 level scoop of Espresso Clean® into the group handle, inserting it as if you were brewing espresso. If your machine is cleaned less frequently, use 2 scoops.
- Start the cleaning cycle and let it run for 10 seconds to allow the cleaner to dissolve.
- Pause the cycle and let it sit for 10 seconds.
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 four more times, running the cycle for 10 seconds and pausing for 10 seconds.
- Remove the group handle and thoroughly rinse the blind filter under a stream of water from the delivery group. Then, turn off the machine.
- Re-insert the handle with the blind filter and start and stop the cycle 10 times. Run it for 5 seconds, pause for 2 seconds to ensure thorough rinsing. Finally, remove the blind filter and insert the regular filter.
- Brew and discard a single espresso to re-season the machine.
Daily Procedure to Clean Filters and Group Handles:
- Soak group handles and filters in 500ml of hot water with 2 scoops of Espresso Clean® for 10 minutes.
- Rinse the group handles and filters thoroughly under running hot water.
By following these straightforward instructions, you can maintain a clean and well-functioning espresso machine, ensuring that each cup of coffee is a delightful experience.

We Aim to Match, But Conditions Apply!
We strive to offer the most competitive prices in Australia for all your coffee brewing needs. While we're confident in our pricing, we're human, and occasionally, a competitor might slip a lower price past our radar. That's where you come in! If you spot a better deal elsewhere, we'll gladly match it, with some fair conditions to ensure a level playing field.
Here's the scoop:
- Aussie rivals only: The competitor must be an Australian retailer with prices in AUD and shipping from within our great nation.
- Brand buddies: They must be an authorised retailer of the specific brand you're eyeing.
- Twinsies, please: The product needs to be an exact match, brand new in its box, and readily available.
- Delivery included: We'll factor in the competitor's delivery cost for an apples-to-apples comparison.
Now, for some exceptions, where our price-matching magic might not work:
- Cashback & discounts: We can't match deals involving cashback offers or special discount coupons.
- Bulk buys: Commercial quantity pricing is a different beast, so we won't match those either.
- Clearance frenzy: Stock liquidation sales are temporary deals, and we can't keep up with their ever-changing prices.
- History can't be rewritten: We can't adjust past orders that have already been processed.
- Auction arena: Prices from auction sites like eBay or Catch of the Day aren't eligible.
The rare exception:
In extraordinary situations, we might not be able to match a competitor's price exactly. But don't worry, we'll still offer you the best possible price we can, because your coffee happiness matters to us!
So, there you have it! With these guidelines in mind, feel free to share any lower prices you find, and let's brew up some fair competition!
