Coffee Machines and Beans was founded by me, Daniel, in 2009. The business was started as a coffee machine service company, servicing commercial coffee machines from Northern Sydney all the way to Cooma, even though I was based in Kiama. I spent many hours driving, fixing machines and sleeping in many dodgy hotels or in the back of the van if my return trip was too late at night. As time went on, I was using any spare money I had to buy Machines for stock and built up my spare parts inventory with the dream of opening my showroom, which happened in 2012.Once I opened the showroom, I employed a service technician to replace me so that I could man the new showroom. This proved to be a success and as the years have gone by, we have added more and more coffee equipment to our range and some additional staff to help in the showroom, most notably Jackie, whom you would have dealt with if you have ever visited or contacted us. She is the friendly face that keeps the business running smoothly.

When it comes to our coffee, it was a slow migration. Initially, we became a reseller for Danes specialty coffee, which was a crucial step in our education. In 2015, it was time to start our own roasting and this is where Coffee Machines and Beans specialty coffee was introduced and in 2016 we also released our subsidiary brand Above Ground coffee Roasters.

We are always learning, keeping up to date with the latest coffee trends (but only if they will improve your coffee experience).
